We were humbled and completely honored to be invited to give a seminar at the Stanford Energy Control Lab with Professor Onori. The work they do to optimize the development of energy systems with the goal of accelerating the transition to clean energy grid and transportation continues to inspire us!

X Takeover

San Louis Obispo, CA

The X Takeover organizers were kind enough to give us a booth at the nation’s biggest event for Tesla enthusiasts. We’re grateful for such a warm welcome and support by everyone there and loved seeing all the modified Cybertrucks and Teslas. Our favorite: the Model 3 Lightening McQueen.

American Library Association Annual Conference

San Diego, CA

We headed to San Diego for the ALA conference, a fun weekend of many firsts for us! We did a book signing, interviewed for a podcast, walked the floors meeting many librarians and other attendees, and sold copies of our book at the Headline Books booth.

Elementary School Visit

Palo Alto, CA

We headed back to our elementary school where we began writing Everything Telsa to do a book talk. We remembered how fun those author talks were for us at that age, and being on the other side of the stage did not disappoint! It was our chance to say thank you to our old teachers and encourage younger kids. We were very impressed with these kids’ many thoughtful and interesting questions!

Books Inc. Palo Alto

Palo Alto, CA

Books Inc. Palo Alto welcomed us, Palo Alto High School students, to our hometown bookstore for the launch of Everything Tesla!

At this event, we shared our journey that took us from 5th graders frustrated by global warming to authors launching a book to help the planet. Approximately 50 adults and kids of all ages came to hear first hand stories about overcoming rejections from adults, the evolution of our book through multiple drafts, and how kids’ voices can make a difference. Thank you for coming and supporting us!
